THE CHALLENGE
Transfer the standards of the legacy Oracle POS system to BREEZE POS. BITSOFT was even able to improve the user experience of the Pizza HUT teams. The deployment had to be done extremely quickly.
In “Run” mode, BITSOFT was able to install a site in one hour. The Operations teams were trained at head office (train the trainer approach)
APPROACH
Setting up a laboratory at Pizza Hut to validate the transition of the existing system to BREEZE, the functionalities, and then piloting the target solution on site for several weeks. Once the test had been validated by PIZZA HUT and BITSOFT, BITSOFT began deployment
SOLUTION
BITSOFT deployed the BREEZE Suite (its POS, the loyalty programme, the white-label Mobile Application, the e-Commerce platform, ServUs – a tool for ordering and paying at the table via QR code – and the Call Centre (Delivery).
This architecture enables Pizza Hut to manage all orders in real time, significantly improving productivity across the Group. BREEZE is interfaced with various solutions (delivery, logistics, BI, Microsoft Navision and Metro Cash&Carry BtoB interface)

RISKS
The biggest risk was falling behind with the roll-out, because the deadlines were really tight
VALUE ANALYSIS
This project has enabled Pizza Hut to boost its sales, after deploying an “e-commerce, mobile application, delivery and click&collect” ecosystem.
The online penetration for delivery orders increased from 3% of total orders to 30% of total orders.
